Fractora has small pins on the hand-piece that penetrate into the skin, termed “Fractional Therapy”, causing micro-injury to the superficial skin. The skin undergoes naturally healing that results in skin rejuvenation; leaving the skin smoother and minimizing wrinkles.
Fractional Therapy is very common; there are multiple devices (which include CO2 and Erbium lasers) that perform this function. ALL of these devices work by causing some degree of injury to the skin, the resultant healing supplies the rejuvenating results.
Fractora stands out from all the rest by causing micro-injury AND thoroughly heating the tissue outside of the injured areas. This additional heating causes collagen formation promoting further rejuvenation by tightening the skin.
Depending on your individual needs for rejuvenation, treatments with Fractora can be delivered at different energy levels. A local topical anesthetic is applied to ensure your comfort with each treatment. Usual treatment frequency is 4 weeks apart for a total of 3-4 treatments.
