Study: One in Four would get Liposuction if Not for Costs

Almost a quarter of Americans want plastic surgery. And our suspicions are that as more patients begin to share their results and experiences with Tickle Lipo, that number will continue to grow.

A recent article from Modern Medicine caught our eye. It states that “one-forth of U.S. adults would get plastic surgery if cost were not an issue.” From what we’ve experienced, this is definitely true. Americans are interested in liposuction and other cosmetic surgeries that will allow them to look and feel their best. However, what holds up many is the issue of cost. Modern Medicine reported on a study that uncovered:

23 percent of adult respondents said they would have a cosmetic procedure done if cost were not a consideration; 28 percent among women and 18 percent among men; 15 percent of respondents said they would consider getting plastic surgery regardless of cost.

I have never had a flat stomach, even after dropping 35 lbs. I do exercise regularly but no matter how much I worked out, I always had a thick waist. I never really considered liposuction before because of the expense and recovery time needed, however, when my husband started going to Dr. Zelko’s office for Exilis treatments, I read the literature on Tickle Lipo and was intrigued. Both my husband and I decided to get the Tickle Lipo procedure. Dr. Zelko performed Tickle Lipo on my upper and lower abdomen, my sides and my upper back. Before the procedure we had a thorough discussion of the areas he had mapped for fat removal. And during the procedure he kept monitoring my comfort level and checking if I had any questions while he worked. The procedure was surprisingly not painful and immediately I had a flat stomach.
